What happens next

what if any fall out would occur if the McCain/Palin ticket won the election and McCain died with in the first 2 years of this term?

Considering McCain looks like his is a million years old..LOL this maybe likely. But I think the world would go into a state of panic. The thought or Palin running the country is scary. In addition similar to Obama's lack of experience, she would be an easy target. The difference I think she would be quick to go to war

I first want to say I am not a terrorist and by no means advocating this, BUT...Any terrorist worth his weight is gonna to work hard to assissinate McCain on the premise that Palin is not ready and is weak. They will attempt to get McCain out of the way and then wage out right warfare on the US, while the country is in flux because of confusion and disarray within the White House. You would have a president that appears to have little support outside of her core voter bloc, and advisors that have the potential to pull her in different directions. Basically you are asking for a 'Perfect Storm' if McCain were to incapacitated during the early portion of his presidential term.

it would be bad i think but now as bad as some people think. i have a feeling that she might make a decent president in the event mccain didn't make it through the term. i don't know why people characterize her as militant. i don't see her rushing into war.

easy rider, i can say exactly the same thing about obama. hes young, inexperienced, and has no support outside of his core. the only difference is that obama is more likely to be assassinated by an american than mccain. his socialist ideology and stance on gun rights is a very dangerous mix in this country. he would be best to move toward the center on both issues if he gets in the white house. i think that if anything happens to him Biden will end up a lame duck and go down as a rather forgetable president but the riots and demonstrations that would take place all over the country would be remembered for a long time.

personally I think it doesn't matter who wins. There are going to be days or protest and havoc. From extremist on both sides.

Oh, I don't doubt that folks will try Obama, I expect him to be tried. My point is that he at least appears to be able to conduct himself with a level of intelligence (I am not saying Palin is not intelligent) when dealing with foreign leaders and well versed in Politicesse. In the appearances I have seen Palin seems to start of speaking the politalk, but when she gets flustered she reverts back to trailer parcelle tongue. That, I think is what gives people that uneasy feeling about her.
