SSDD, nothing enlighting was really brought out last night. The debate was unorganized and once again strayed from the format. Tom Brokaw did an admirable job of trying to enhance some of the audience questions and enforcing the agreed upon rules, but was really unable to control the flow of the debate. Kermit McCain harped on the same issues as the last debate, Barry-O stuck to his counter points of Kermit.
The debates at this point are only providing foder for FNC, CNN, CSPAN and the likes. No one is neither saying anything new nor hearing anything new. The formats should be scrapped in favor of 3 hrs of 5 minute exchanges beginning with one undisclosed question until the time limit has been reached.
The debate was boring and the person most said won the debate was decided in their head before the debate even started.
Not really much to comment on. its hard to imagine anyone is undecided at this point.
If you are you are just being lazy and not researching the canidates plans which are both on the respective websites.
The people they interviewed on CNN after the debates sounded so dumb. They are the type of people that hold up the line because they can't decided what to order at Mcdonalds.
For political reasons the canidates just are not going to say much new at this point.
The debate was boring and wasn't too engaging, I had more fun flipping channels. It was basically the same ole information. At this point both candiates are lying and will not be able to do most of the things they are promising.. I can see people still being undecided as a result. The economy is going to hell in a handbasket everyday.
that was probably the most boring debate i've ever seen. neither candidate did a very good job of trying to "win". i think mccain tended to stay more with the topic while obama tended to steer back toward his talking points but it really didn't matter i don't think.
the format of this debate definately helped mccain, he seems more comfortable when he can walk around and talk to people. obama seemed a little uneasy, he studdard more than usual and seems a to be a little more on the defensive.
next weeks should be much better as its the last one. this will be the one that people really pay attention to.
