I don't spend much time meeting new people because of gas and the economy. It cost too much to go out on dates and in my opinion most women don't understand that. They still expect to be wined and dined.

Well for one thang I damn sho can't hit the skrip clubs as much as I use to. That's f'ed up. I been getting emails from China and Bady doll everyday askin when I'm comin back. It's disgraceful mane.
Oh honey its affecting me in the same way. I have been very very limited in what I do in the social scene. Then of course I love to shop and I haven't been able to do that as much either.
I do think though if you are going to go on a date you just need to be real and up front about whats going on. That way we can decide what we want to do. Something both our pockets can handle
I have to agree I am no longer a social light I have to keep it at the crib and be my own bartender.... ya know a sista like to get her drink on...
But I wouldn't mind going over to a person house and having a movie night... I could go for that if a brotha was having the same money problems I "know" I'm having....At this point a lot of people have a better understanding of money being funny....
I agree with your dnasty, the only strip show I see now is the adult tapes, I put it in slow motion and turn on some Jezzy.. Hahaha..
I cook stuff like spaghetti I know will last a few days..

I'm a homebody so by the time I do go out...I have a lil money but I do need budget for those occassions and spend only a certain amount.
What does affect me is paying the necessities...rent, utilities, car, student loans. It's increasing harder due to the fact that other necessity prices: gas, groceries, etc have increased.
My preference is entertainment at home (mine or my friends' places) and when you can throw down in the kitchen, what can be better?
Its hard on everyone .. I think if you verbalize how it is hurting your pocket, women would be more understanding. I think that this is the time to get a little creative and plan events that don't cost anything. I am in FL .. weather is cool but a walk on the beach is not out of the question, there are a lot national parks and springs around here that cost $2.00 to get into. Think back to your childhood and get a little creative..you would get more cool points in my book for exposing me to something new and different rather the same ole dinner and a movie :)

I am in Daytona Beach .. Right now I am beautiful Phoenix. The mountains are amazing and I saw the most beautiful sunset in my entire life yesterday ..
