We all know the real reason why we are in IRAQ..... because of that oil BITCHES!!!!!!!! (as Dave would say)
But why are we still there... at this point I think that America has to stay around at this point to try and bring around some type of peace.... not that we really want to stay were not making any difference the American presence just need to be shown
I agree that we are there for George's greed in the oil but for peace. Hell they are well on there way to keep their own freakin peace. If we haven't already given them what they need to gain some type of control I dont think it will happen.
We cannot baby sit! We are wasting all kinds of money with our troops over there
At this point we are still in Iraq because we have to save face with the rest of the world. It appears that we half assed the outsting of Hussein, and left the power structure over there in shambles. I don't know who's policy it is, but since the US blew it up, we have to rebuild it (look at Japan and Germany to an extent after WWII).
The root of the problem as I see it, is you can't force democracy on folks. If you listen to the politicians they continue to say 'We are the bringers of democracy' or 'We are liberators'. What did we liberate them from? They will not be our allies as soon as we vacate the region. The right amount of force was never used in this situation. You can't fight a polite war, you can't have a measured first offensive. WAR IS HELL, and that is what we should have unleashed on Iraq, instead we went in all cute and sneaky. That is like 2007 Patriots going into Grady Stadium to play Tri Cities high school and running fumble-rooskies and half back option passes. We are/were bigger, stronger and faster and we pussy footed this war.
i agree that we are there to save face but do you think its also a stubborn thing with mr. george to make a point that he did the right thing no matter the cost? We have messed up left and right there. He still refuses to humble it seems. Kinda like when you over eat from being greedy then end up in the bathroom sick cuz u refuse to push away, lol just shittn all over the freakin place
Thats Conronda, and he in there trying not to blow up the bathroom, just squeezing his ass real tight and dragging out the inevitable. It really looks like at this point he is just trying to make a big a mess as possible for the next person to have to either clean up or be blamed for making. As Dave Chapelle would say 'hmmmm mud butt'
Iraq has cost us in so many ways .. For all the money that we have spent there we could have invested in engineering programs in our Universities and Colleges to focus on finding more efficient sources of energy. Blood shed hasn't gotten us any closer to solving the issues in Iraq. I think its time to put down our guns and start our "big boy" words to figure out a reasonable solution.

He had to do something to prove the US was still on top she Hussien was the target and they new he didn't have much to do with the problems. Bin Laden been at the club, shorting videos and they can't catch him. Now that everybodies foot is in their mouth, nobody wants to leave because it will make the US look like we didn't know what we were doing and despite all the kids that have been killed, maimed, etc, now they are using the blood they lost as a reason to stay but there is still no reason to say what are they looking for now, hmmmm
It's bad to say but we as a country are so deep into Iraq, to leave is going to a 'War of the Roses' style divorce. I just don't see a reasonable solution, the way out is going to look a lot like the way in. We went in shooting and yelling, the only way out, at this point is the same way. Give em one helluva shot and like Kaiser Sozer...be gone like a puff of smoke.
