Debate !

Last night most of us watched the debate. What are your thoughts? What did you think of the tone?

Obama seem poised but at times it appears McCain was whipping his butt!

Yeah, John did get in Barak's ass from time to time last night, but he had to. Barak had the luxury of leading in the public eye and thus was able to be relaxed and play a mostly defensive game. McCain has to rally his troops and win over the undecided, Obama is more like the champ in boxing match, at this point he is leading on cards and contect to carry John through the 12th round (11/4/08) and win on the cards.

Barak did appear as the more poised and composed person, which gave him an air leadership, while at times Johnny Mc seemed flustered, pissed and confused. He even mentioned the Arizona Cardinals beating the Cowboys...WTF?!

John had to pull out all the stops last night but in the end all the polls still favored Obama. And Dems & Reps still felt as though John was more negative throughout the debate.

While John looked like he was about to have an aneurism, Barack was cool as a cucumber and either shook his head or laughed off false accusations.

BTW...If anyone sees an "I'm Joe the Plumber t-shirt" lemme know.

Now everyone get out there and vote...it'll make you strong! Be smart and take advantage of early voting.

Here is your fine ZERO. LOL

I think McCain sharted in his depends when Barck said that.

I refuse to believe anyone is undecided at this point. If you are two lazy to go to the canidates websites and research your plans and expect to gleen some new information from a debate you probably dont deserve to vote anyway.

LOL Miss T about Joe the plumber. I might have to press up some T's

I am just ready for the whole things to be over now. I feel bad for Joe the plummer but McCain's plan just isn't going to help him and his family. What really kills me is that they have all the fact about healthcare but they do not have a clue how it actually works for a patient to get an appointment. I had a patient the other day that was deciding on postponing her surgery because they lost so much money in the stock market and she wasnt sure how she was going to pay the $150.00 copayment for each day that she will be in the hospital..not to mention the 20% that is her responsibility after her insurance pays for everything else...Just not a choice people should have to make ..

Let me say this do you guys think that because Obama is black if he tried to be aggressive in the debate they he would be looked upon as a anger black man..... instead of how they view McClain has just trying to push his point across.....

And we all know that this is a race thing period.....

Also why is it that he cant say anything wrong/negative about Palin either... is it because they think he will be attacking the poor lil white woman

It would really depend on how he worded his aggressive comments. If he were demeaning and belittling Kermit McCain, yes, he would be labeled 'The Angry black man' and receive a lot of backlash for being so combative. If he intelligently cussed Kermit smooth the fuck out, people would say that he crushed McCain the same way that Clinton did Bush.

He seems to go out of his way to leave Palin alone because that ship has sailed. There is no reason to beat that dead horse. Her credibility was never established to ruin it, she is the butt of every joke in this election. I am sure his advisors have told him to stear clear of her. The only thing that can happen from him pointing out her flaws is the GOP claiming he is being sexist and attacking their delicate flower/pit bull/new bitch. Him taking the high road on the Palin fiasco is the correct course of action.

Goldenstar

I think Barack has always shown us how to disagree with respect. I bet he's called McCain a couple of MF's behind closed doors (I think I even read it on his face, at the same time I was thinking it...lol).

I believe Barack wants the people to see less negativity, which has shown to help him, while focusing on the issues that WE voters really care about.

Lastly, I was proud of Barack when he didn't bash Sarah Palin. He didn't have to...we can let Tina Fey continue to make her look like a joke. I was upset when McCain then turned around and was so negative about Biden...thank goodness the people saw right through it...that's a maveric for ya.

At the end of the day McCain gave it his best shot. He gave Obama a challenge but i think Obama handled him well.

McCain looked like his shirt collar was too tight. I thought is head was going to roll off his body a few times.
