I am happy black people and the nation have come together for President Obama and vigoriously going after any publications that display negative depictions of the President. I have received several emails to sign a petition against the Post Newspaper.
However, I want to holla, because when are we going to stand together against things that are affecting our lively hood. How about sending petitions to address GM asking for our tax dollars yet anticipating shutting down their 5 US factories. Take my money and take my job WTH. What about elected officials choosing to accept some or none of the stimulus money. Where are the petitions for that. What about the shows on VH1 and MTV that provide brainless tasteless shows. Rap music and BET was attacked causing them to change some of their programming.
When are we going to stand together for global issues also?

Hmmm... With there being a recession and all, I dnt think too many people are concern with issues like MTV and BET. If you dnt like the programs then I suggest DO NOT WATCH THEM. Regards to what anyone think or say our tax dollars are never going to be spent the way we want them to be, ON OURSELVES. Just food for thought.
Kim correct they will not be spent the way we want. IMO it's because we are not standing up for our rights.
