Thoughtful or a Bug-a-Boo

When your interested in someone and lets say you have been talking for a couple of weeks, how often should you call? Should call when you get the urge or just wait for that person to call you. Does me calling say I want you and i'm available and thinking of you? Does me waiting for you to call me say i'm not too available? What are your thoughts.

I am happy black people and the nation have come together for President Obama and vigoriously going after any publications that display negative depictions of the President. I have received several emails to sign a petition against the Post Newspaper.

However, I want to holla, because when are we going to stand together against things that are affecting our lively hood. How about sending petitions to address GM asking for our tax dollars yet anticipating shutting down their 5 US factories. Take my money and take my job WTH. What about elected officials choosing to accept some or none of the stimulus money. Where are the petitions for that. What about the shows on VH1 and MTV that provide brainless tasteless shows. Rap music and BET was attacked causing them to change some of their programming.

How do you go from Single to a relationship?

It appears most of us on here have been single for a minute. I know the longer I stay single the more set in my ways I become. I have friends and do things without regards for anyone expect my children.

My question is how do you transition from single life to a relationship?

Do you let all your friends know I am dating now you can't call me at 2am. If yes how do we let others knows. What about the late night out with the fellas or hanging out every week. Do you send a mass email etc..

Just found out yesterday that my friend was cheating on his wife. Now this would be no problem with me or that big of deal if they both werent my closest friends. I just happned to luck up on this information. When I talk with him about it he explained to me that it wasnt my place to interfere but at the same time, she is my home girl....

He only cheated once..

My friend married her husband when they were 21. They have been together for 15 years. 3 Months ago she found out he cheated on her. Naturally she was distraught. Her 65yr old aunt told her she should have expected it, because they got married young. She also told her not to be too upset because her husband loved her and he only cheated once. Him cheating once in 15 years is good. He aunt revealed her husband of 30 years cheated only twice. She said sticking behind him and him seeing she was a good women is what helped their marriage stay strong. She said the women is the backbone of a marriage.

My question - If you have been with someone for a long time should you expect them to stray. (like the 5 or 7 year itch theory)

I was at a party the other night and this young lady come in and showed all the ladies her body suit. Now we were happy and amazed at this wonderful item. But the men where not so happy.

They stated that its really a lie for woman to walk around with all this stuff on to make us look better... One man stated that he knows that we arent 17 any more and that some people are going to have a roll or 2 so just live up to it... Kinda like what ya see is what ya get.... so he was like now when he goes out to the club he feels a lady up and dont to make sure that she isnt wearing a body shaper.

All the men felt like it was false advertisment. But I dont think its any different then anything else we do. weave nails and lashes I mean thats right there in ya face and most man dont have anything to say about that.

The minimalist

I have been taking a poll about the use of towels.

I heard that most men are minimalist people they dont care about the simple things like woman do like towels. So I asked some of the guys at my job about it. One guy stated that he has 1 towel that he using everyday and only gives it a wash on sunday. Another guy stated that he uses a towel 10-12 times before he will pick up a fresh one. Then aother guy stated that he only has 2 towel which he keeps in rotation.

Personally this is just nasty I feel that a person should get a new towel everyday and at least own 5 or more.

Most female say they own about 15-20 towels. Most men around 2.

So group I ask you how many towels do you own and how many time will you use it?

Tell me what do you guys think about spending these days. After reading all the stuff on CNN its like people arent really spending money everybody wants to save. But isnt that doing things wrong shouldnt we be spending so that we can keep people with jobs and keep the economy going?

How to let a man lead

I have a friend that doesn't know how to let a man be a man. She has an A type personality. When she meets a man, its in her nature to take charge and run the friendship this is before they are really dating. She will suggest where they should go, what they should do. She says she doesn't know how to tell a let a man lead.

I have a friend that just got married which is a good thing. But now she is trying to change everything about him. Like she doesent want him going out with his friends and feels like they should spend every birthday holiday or whatever together.

I have a friend that is in the beginning stages of Domestic Violence. Her and her husband are separated, he decided to move out because things aren't working. Being she hasn't ran back to him and for the first time stood up and said no more. They both were wrong in that flirted with other people. When he did it, she had to be ok with it. When she did it, he made it as if the world has stopped.

Now he is trying to move back in, I suggested they stay in separate residences til they work out the issues. She would let he come over and see their daughter but he will decide he is stay and spend the night. I told her to stop allowing him to come over because he is doing it as a way of control. He would come over but tell her he is dealing with other women. (The mind control game). When she decided to stand up and stop allowing him to come and stay at will. He has gotten violent.

I have suggested she speak to someone, she doesn't want to. I have suggested she call the cops, she doesn't want to. I have given her the domestic abuse hotline. '

My cousin was a teenage mother at the age of 15 she stated that when her child enters high school she is automatically going to put her on the pill. In some ways I feel that it is the wise things to do but on the other handle are you telling her that its ok to have sex?
