What do yall think of this poem I wrote...
Held in Time
I’m caught in a place
With a once familiar face
Memories of hugs and kisses
Now replaced with wishes
Of ONE HOUR of
Peace and Happiness
The Sun rises and sets
But I have yet
To see a change in me
Sitting in the drivers seat
Unable to move these cold feet
The fetal position has become the resting place for my soul
Wondering why we can’t stand and finish our goal
Scared to leave to this state of comfortable confusion
Keeping your heart warm for you,
Hold up that’s my heart, I still can’t tell the difference between the two
Mo’ betta blues, mo betta blues
Sam Cooke said a change is gonna come,
If I go with change then I will miss when you come!
So I just sit here held in time
