This is a historic moment in time.
How do you feel ? Did you doubt this day would come? Where do we go from here?

I feel FREAKING GREAT !!!!!!!
Didn't think I would ever see this day! It a beautiful thing...
Now the journey begins !
I think that it is great. Honestly, I did believe this day is coming because we are progressing as a people. When I say "we" I do not mean black people .. I mean all of us: men, women, black, white, hispanic, asian, and every other color of the rainbow .. We have our first multicultural president, not black president. He has a background that represents so many types of people. Finally, the U.S. represents us all.
I feel great this is really a changing moment in history I didnt think this would happen in my life time that America would let a Black man run this country .....
I feel like I have been part of a great movement.
I never thought I'd see this day! I could barely contain myself at work...grinning ear to ear!
STS...Perception is some people's reality, so when they look at Barack all they see is a Black man, although he is 1/2 Black, which is why some people did not vote for him (and he says he's Black).
It's just great to see a person of color going to the White House because it shows how much we have progressed as a country.
The first Black person to do anything carries a great burden and my prayers are with him that he will carry out the will of the people, while maintaining great character!
(Smile) How do I feel? I feel as though the fight that began the moment Kings and Queens realized they had been enslaved has still not been justified. I feel the bondage and ill treatment of mankind, no matter race or color is still evident. I feel animals have more right, worth, and compassion then minority. I feel the mirror America has covered with its sath cloth will now be revealed and its reflection viewable by not only those who walked blood streets, spoke until silenced by death, and freely complied to self sacrifice for humanity...now, now have an image. An image of values and morals of old. I feel society has made it through the woods, but we still have bushes and heavy terrain left to cross. I feel glad to be an American. Never have doubted it but have been prayful and observant of our indiviudal and collective demise. I feel overwhelming happiness and joy! I feel aware and fearful. I feel we owe each other and ourselves nothing but the promise to engage in this opportunity and display a higher level of mannerism, self worth, constantly humility, and the difference in where we are and where our freedoms come from. I feel and now can see a sparkle of light...the kind that needs and requires attention, assistance, and room to radiate for all to see.
