Well I don't know if it puts us in a place to act like his mother more so of direction and strenght. Now I think it depends on how we communicate these things and how sensitve that man is at the time. Because we can come across forceful or he can feel like no woman needs to give him advice
If you asked me that question 5 years ago .. I would say yes I agree because back then I dated boys and not men. Women are nurturers, I don't think that the intention would be to act or replace the mother but it usually ends up that way .. we try to fix the situation .. Today .. If you came at my like a child, I would walk away. I ain't gots time to raise a grown man. I was talking to someone last nite about this exact situation .. I want a man, that will just let me be a woman .. nothing more, nothing less.
