I think thats BS, drink was tastes good, a person drinking an adult beverage from the correct stemware shows you know you are doing. I refuse to drink my drink from a plastic cup. I think it would say more if I saw someone drinking a long island out of a martini glass than a woman drinking a long neck Budweiser out of the bottle.

dude, if I ever saw a woman drinking beer through a straw, I would turn into the guy from the High Life commercial and take her beer from her and tell her 'You are not living the High Life through a straw'. I can see a group of guys drinking martini's so long as they are REGULAR martini's, not an cosmo, or an apple martini or pommegranite martini or some other bastardation of James Bond's signature drink. You aren't trying to imply that James Bond got some bitch in him do you, Sean Connery will come and kick yo ass personally for that.
I would have to say that I wouldnt like for my dude to be seating around with all his friends drinking a martini my first thought would be that this dude is gay period.
If he is out with his girl or something ya know he tastes her drinks he likes it tell em people to put that mess in a reg glass or something

Hey does James Bond get grief for drinking martini's? No. I don't drink beer with a staw and I like it in the bottle rather than a cold glass. A drink is a drink it could look fruity as hell and still knock you on your butt. Thats funny anybody would think that.
they are also toasting which is another pretty fucked up thing, but anyone drinking an adult beverage through a straw needs their ass kicked. I don't consider margaritas and daquiris and such adult beverages. You are right THEY look delicate and butch, I can drink a martini in a martini glass and still maintain my masculine appearance.
