Who designed her dress is a non-issue. All that is, is a commercial for whom ever designed it. If in the same position I am going to wear a suit that I know fits the occassion first and the me second. More than likely I wouldn't even mention who tailored the suit, he designed the shirt, and where I bought the tie, now I may give up the info on where I bought my 100% cotton Wal-Mart boxers and cotton/lycra Gold Toe socks.
Really?? Who cares .. she looked great .. I think they are taking this black thing too far .. She is a woman that had a particular taste before she became the first lady .. why should she change or define her blackness by what type of dress she wore .. "Get some business" for all those who believe that she should've worn a black designer's dress .. good Lord!!
I think she should have worn a black designers dress. The are in the spot light and this will give our people an oppty to shine and the world to view us different. Why not bring a few of us up with you. Alot of people voted for him just because he was black !!
I don't think it matters what race your designer is as long as the outfit fits your body perfectly. Let me pick the color and it looks banging on my body its all good. She'll have plenty of time to wear something from a black designer I mean she has at least four years to do so. Those designers need to man up and stop all the baby whining. Grow the hell up designers.
Knobles look at it from this point of view if. Your a designer and looking for your break. The whites support and help each other up. Why couldn't he give you a hand up?
But folks are studying what this woman wears and are buying up whatever she wears. So it really doesn't matter if she didn't wear it on the big day or not. They are watching her style very closely. Trust me all she has to do is getting got wearing their design and they will blow up.
