I was just people watching today....

What are you thoughts about a 35 year old man still riding around listening to rap music wearing sneakers?  At what point to you grow up, I mean do these people have corp jobs or what I mean really......

What is wrong with riding around listening to rap and wearing sneakers? I guess the question was he riding with his windows down and bass bumping, or was he just out chilling listening to the radio/CD at a reasonable level? Because you grow up doesn't mean you have to change how you dress and what you listen to. I am almost 35, have on sneakers (in the office) and my headphones with a mix of R&B and rap playing. Whats the problem with that?

I dont think its anything wrong with that as long as your character isn't of a young teenager

that is very true GS, but I have been known to ride down the street listening to 107.9 or my MP3 player with a suit on and my Oakley shades. Would that have been a better or worse image, I mean, you would have been all confused had you seen that.

Well said Easy .. I don't see anything wrong with it either .. Although I hate seeing a grown man with braids in his hair .. We all judge the surface but until you get a chance to talk to that person, you never know what is really going on.

I tell you what I hate to see, is a grown ass man wearing his pants half off his ass, corn rows in his head and a 5XT tee shirt. While we on that subject, I saw a girl/lady wearing those big hoop earings with writing in them the other day. The writing said (wait for it....wait for it....) Bitch, in script, WTF was that about?

LOL @ hoop earrings .. you know the 80's are back .. the funny thing is that most of these fools doing the 80's fad were born like 87-89 .. they don't even have a clue .. lol.

I agree with you guys tho .. there is a difference between someone going thru their second childhood or someone that is on their grown man/woman just doing there thing on the humble..

Don't laugh but your girl be getting down with the stanky legg but I would never do that with a bunch of babies in club making myself look like a fool .. LMAO

Ok the huge hoop earing with bad language in it is a bit much! Those are the chicks that want the 35yr old man wearing sneakers and pants around their ankles. A match made in heaven

HA .. you right ConRonda .. lmao

STS, you doing the Ricky Bobby at home too? You not allowed to live your second childhood until you have completed your first adulthood. Some of these clowns ain't grown up to be able to revert back to something else.

Naaa .. don't like the Ricky Bobby ..lol .. remember back in the day when the dances had simple names: running man, cabbage patch, the wop, kid in play .. lol

Greetings All,
I'm 33 and I listen to rap sometimes I don't see anyting with that. He could've just been having a chill moment. I do that with my T.I. or The Heat on Sirius all the time. And I have a corporate job. But I agree with the cornrows and sagging pants on grown ass men. Thats just not sexy. BTW I'm super glad the blog is back up and happening.
