How important is it to have things in common with whom your dating? For instants if your a tech greek should they be one also or should they be your opposite?
You have to have things in common in order to be interested for more than a second. If you have no common interested you will not be able to sustain a relationship. There has to be something that holds you both together. I think you also have to balance each other. There has to be strong points in both of you that strengthen the other.
I think its good to have the basics in common .. I'm a pretty open minded person and I love learning & trying new things. Just finding someone that is just as open as I am is a lil hard to find.
I feel that all parties should be open minded to new things cause if your not you will be stuck in one place and the relationship cant grow.... I dont feel like I should be into everything that you like.. but I do feel that I should try and embrace things that make you happy...
I think before you can try anything new. The HAS to be mutual interest. If your not compatible, trying something new will only create disaster and you will feel forced..
wow.... you think that you would feel forced... I mean if you have never tried it before how would you know if you liked it or not.... I dont think that fair to either party.
What does that mean? You can try something new but there still has to be common interest among both people. He might be into something I haven't tried therefore, I may try it because of him and vise versa. If you guys can clarify for me what you mean by trying something new.
If you go through people using them as guinea pigs thats not fair. Know what your interest are and what you want. If you are lingering not knowing what you want you will be looking forever....
Well yeah that is expected. If you go into a relationship and always declining an idea that is brought up by that person they will feel rejected. I thought you all were meaning as in not need common interest at all though just gravitating toward someone who has no equal interest as yourself....
