Clingy: A boyfriend/girlfriend or possibly someone who likes you who becomes let's say, obssesed. Signs that your boyfriend/girlfriend is clingy: doesn't stop calling, constantly tells you how much they love/like you, writes you songs, buys you flowers/chocolate so much it gets annoying, and wants to spend time..all the time.
Enjoying someone's conversation doesn't mean you become obsessed with them and need to converse with them 24/7
wow.... I mean that would be a big difference I think that first sign would be them wanting to be with you all the time like... you still have to have a life of your own.
Whats wrong with someone wanting to spend time with you. I think clingy depends on how we feel about the person. If we enjoy the person's company then we don't mind HOW much time it spent. However, if we don't want to be bothered. Thats when we feel trapped and clingy..

But if I want you to talk me to sleep at time for a couple of hours a couple of nights a week I dont think thats a bad thing....

I disagree you can enjoy ones company but we all need that alone time period.
Clingy is somebody that calls constantly and get upset when you don't call them back or answer their text. Damn stalkers.
